At Sunshine Cottage Preschool, our mission is to provide safe and nurturing child care services that promote child development and growth. Our preschool programs provide care and learning for children ages 6 wks (day care center) to 6 yrs of age. SCP follows an accredited curriculum offering Pre-K and Kinder School, as well as summer camp
At Sunshine Cottage Preschool, our mission is to provide safe and nurturing child care services that promote child development and growth. SCP follows an accredited curriculum offering Pre-K and Kinder School, as well as summer camp programs. We serve the hearts and little learning minds of the Buda and Kyle area.

Our Mission
Our staff members are trained and dedicated, and who are passionate about working with children. They undergo rigorous background checks , finger printing, and are certified in CPR and first aid. Each teacher receives over 24 hours of CEU training credits every year, in lesson planning, child brain development, positive guidance and redirection.

We offer a range of programs tailored to the needs of children at different developmental stages. Our programs include infant care, toddler care, preschool, Ages 8 weeks to 6 years.

Summer Camp Care
Sunshine Cottage Preschool offers summer camp for school age children. Our school will provide in-house field trips and STEM based activities

Through high quality instruction and hands-on experiences, the Sunshine Cottage Preschool provides a supportive learning environment where children develop strengths and acquire skills to best prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond.
We believe that children learn best through interactive playing that build strong social and emotional development. Children are meant to be in the sunshine and fresh air discovering the beautiful world around them.

We inspire and encourage curiosity, independence and a life- long love of learning to help our children to better appreciate the world around them and become contributing members in our community. Children are to be appreciated, each in their different personalities and qualities.
We believe children should have the opportunity to grow and learn through play and discovery. Social and emotional growth and development is paramount for a flourishing child. What better way than with adequate outside time for the development of healthy motor skills and to build relationships with new friends.
